Buffelgrass
An invasive species threat to the desert ecosystem — July 10, 2008
Luis Carrion reports on the efforts to control Buffelgrass, an invasive grass species that takes over the natural desert ecosystem. Experts say the fast-burning grass could have a dramatic affect on the way our community looks in the future.
Eradicating the weed is not easy, nor cheap, and will require plenty of resources...financial and otherwise.
