The economic recession is hurting thousands of companies across the country but some are actually expanding or opening their doors in Southern Arizona during this difficult time.

Tony Paniagua visits the new multi-million dollar Wingate by Wyndham Hotel in Oro Valley as well as the Lodge on the Desert in central Tucson, which is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation. It's not an ideal economic time, but both businesses say they are optimistic about the days ahead.
