The Girls Scouts and many other non-profit organizations in Southern Arizona and the country are facing tough economic times. Donations and other financial assistance are down but demand has increased in many cases. Tony Paniagua speaks with a couple of girl scouts at the Sahuaro Girl Scout Council, the chief operating officer and a volunteer. The story also addresses economic issues with other groups, including the Beacon Foundation which provides funds to people with disabilities.
