Autism is the most common condition in a group of developmental disorders known as the autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). Autism is characterized by impaired social interaction, problems with verbal and nonverbal communication, and unusual, repetitive, or severely limited activities and interests.
Hundreds of people are trying to raise awareness about the multi-billion dollar medical problem that may affect four million people in the United States in the next decade. They’re meeting this Saturday at the University of Arizona to address autism.
The Autism Walk/Run and Resource Fair will be held this Saturday, March 28th in morning at the U of A mall.
