View Video Adrian Shelton Education and more — June 25, 2009

Adrian Shelton joins Tony Paniaguas in the studio to talk about some of her experiences, goals and projects since arriving in Tucson in 2006 with her husband, Dr. Robert Shelton, who was hired as the new president of the University of Arizona.

Mrs. Shelton says her life has three main parts: Her family, her career and her volunteering and outreach for UA and education in general. One of the main things she's working on is Arizona Assurance, which provides scholarships so students can graduate without debt. She's also doing outreach in Maricopa County and enhancing the university's connection to women. The Sheltons have three children. Their two sons are professors in California and their daughter is a medical student in North Carolina.
