In the 1930's the Tohono O'odham nation produced one and a half million pounds of tepary beans, a diet staple. Eight years ago, production waned to a measly 100 pounds, which explains the host of health problems the natives have experienced by straying from the traditional diet. However, as Kimberly Craft reports, things are turning around as the Tohono O'Odham return to their roots.
